MARIETTA, Miss. (WTVA) - Three men face assault charges for allegedly hitting another man with a baseball bat.
Prentiss County sheriff’s deputies responded on Wednesday to a disturbance report at a medical clinic in Marietta.
They found a man who claimed he had been struck in the head with a baseball bat, said Sheriff Randy Tolar.
The victim was taken to the local emergency room.
Investigators charged Danny Stevens, 74, of Marietta; Mark Stevens, 48, of Booneville; and Marshall Stevens, 48, of Marietta, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The sheriff’s office did not provide further information about the incident.
