WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) - The Prairie Arts Festival took place at the Sally Winters Park in downtown West Point Saturday afternoon.
Hundreds of community members indulged in the fudge bars, lemonades and funnel cakes. Families also had the opportunity to get on swing rides and train rides.
Face painters and arts and craft vendors came back this year for another fun-filled weekend.
A band performed live music to entertain the crowds.
Reshontana Petty said she attends the festival every year, because she reunites with longtime friends. "This is a day that everybody comes together...it's just something positive to do with so much negativity going on," she said.
