Six arrested in connection to shooting of Pontotoc store owner

Pontotoc Police announced Friday they made six arrests in connection to the December shooting at the East Side Quick Stop store.

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) - Four people face attempted murder charges following the shooting of a store owner in Pontotoc.

Three masked robbers entered the East Side Quick Stop store on Dec. 18, 2019. A robber shot the store owner in the head, but the victim was able to call 911.

East Side Quick Stop is located on East Oxford Street in Pontotoc.

Pontotoc Police announced Friday they made six arrests in connection to the shooting.

  • Jacoby O’Neal, 19, of Belden – charged with armed robbery and attempted murder. His bond was set at $500,000.
  • Jartavis Penro, 30, of Tupelo – charged with armed robbery and attempted murder. His bond was set at $500,000.
  • Jaylon O’Neal, 19, of Tupelo – charged with armed robbery and attempted murder. His bond was set at $500,000.
  • Da’Von Davidson, 28, of Pontotoc – charged with armed robbery. Her bond was set at $250,000.
  • Peyton Bogan, 19, of Tupelo – charged with armed robbery and attempted murder. His bond was set at $500,000.
  • Jaron Roberson, 21, of Pontotoc – charged with hindering prosecution and rendering criminal assistance. His bond was set at $25,000.
