Police search for man following armed robbery

Police in Tupelo are searching for a man accused of robbery.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Tupelo police are searching for a man accused of robbing a Walmart gas station Sunday night.

According to the Tupelo Police Department, the incident happened on Sunday, December 10 at approximately 10:24 p.m. at the Walmart Neighborhood Market Fuel Station on South Gloster Street.

The clerk told police that a man entered the store, threatened he had a gun in his pocket and demanded money.

The man was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say no one was injured.

The man is described as African-American, standing 5’8” in height, having a beard and wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.
