Police investigate break-in at Okolona pharmacy

Okolona police are looking for two people following a break-in at a local pharmacy.

OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) - Okolona police are looking for two people following a break-in at a local pharmacy.

The break-in happened near midnight on Wednesday at Okolona Pharmacy on South Church Street.

The two people were described as wearing masks and wearing black clothing.

Police said the criminals used a rock to gain entry into the pharmacy.

Once inside, police said the criminals made off with prescription cough medicine.

The two left in a car that was reported stolen out of Lee County.

That car was later recovered, but the two people were not found.

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is assisting with the investigation.
