Police hunt two men following Dollar General robbery in Blue Mountain

Police are hunting two men who managed to rob Blue Mountain's Dollar General.

BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. (WTVA) – Police in Blue Mountain are searching for two men who robbed a Dollar General.

Blue Mountain Police Chief Jim Taylor says it happened the night of Sunday, November 12 around 9:57.

Taylor says two men walked into the store through the front door. One man had a gun and put his hand on one of the store clerks and pushed her into a back office.

The second man grabbed another employee and forced her into the back room as well, Taylor said.

Police say more than $2,000 was taken.

The two men are still at large as of Wednesday afternoon. The Tippah County Sheriff’s Department is also working on the investigation.
