Police chase ends in Pontotoc

A police chase across multiple counties ends with a person in custody.

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) - A police chase across multiple counties Wednesday ends with a person in custody.

Tippah County Sheriff Karl Gaillard confirmed the chase was initiated by Ripley police and ended along Highway 15 near North Pontotoc High School.

Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards says one person was taken into custody.

Right now, we are working to find out more information from Ripley police on why the chase started and who was arrested.
