WEST POINT, Miss.  (WTVA) -- A West Point man is behind bars accused of a couple of burglaries.

Police say Stederrius Hodges, 21, was caught on camera breaking into cars at a community counseling building.

Clay County Sheriff's Office

Detective Ramirez Ivy says Hodges broke into a couple of cars at that location.

Ivy says Hodges returned to the building Friday morning where workers recognized him and called police.

He says they were able to surround the area and quickly apprehend Hodges.

Ivy says the department encourages the community to report any strange activity you see.

“Continue to keep an eye out, this is one of many," said Ivy. "We still have many other incidents out there."

Hodges remains in the Clay County Regional Jail facing multiple charges.

No bond has been set at this time.
