OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) — One woman is reopening her business so families can have fun during Black Friday.
Heather Morris owns Heaven’s Jubilee Farm in the Center Grove community of Oktibbeha County.
She said the coronavirus pandemic forced her petting zoo to close down in March—which is the busiest time of year for her.
“I went and got a part-time job to make ends meet. You know we still have the animals to take care of,” said Morris.
Morris said families can enjoy the treehouse, hay rides and education of the animals.
“There’s so many children that have no exposure. And we’ll go and they think that the goats are baby cows and you know they don’t even know what they are,” she said.
The petting zoo will open only on Black Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission is $5 and tickets for children ages 1-3 are $3.
