OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) – Surveillance video from a tobacco store robbery leads to the arrest of two people.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the robbery happened on Monday, November 20 at the Tobacco Superstore on North Lamar Boulevard.
The video identified the suspects as Crystal Townsend, 28, and Cedric Williams, 33, both of Oxford.
Police and Lafayette County deputies received information that the two were in Brittany Apartments.
Officers responded to the apartments where Townsend and Williams were taken into custody.
Williams was booked for robbery and possession of cocaine. His bond was set at $100,000. The Mississippi Department of Corrections has a hold on him.
Townsend was booked for conspiracy to commit robbery. Her bond was set at $60,000.
