OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Oxford Police arrested a man after reports of someone breaking into 11 cars within just a few days.
Oxford Police Capt. Hildon Sessums says the man responsible has a heavy reputation of burglary.

Police investigators say that 18-year-old Tyler Owens is responsible for all 11 burglaries.
According to Sessums, police have been dealing with Owens for several years as a juvenile.
Sessums says that all 11 cars were left unlocked and had valuables out in the open.
Sessums hopes this encourages people to lock their cars no matter where they are parked.
Owens is accused of taking change, phones and other small valuables from the vehicles.
