According to the police departments' Twitter page, one female was shot during this incident. Police later identified the victim as Leslie Cox. She was shot in the forearm. She has since been released from the hospital.

Police say the shooting was a result of a family dispute. Police say Cox and the suspect are related and she was not the intended target.

"It was several people out. It could have been anybody. A bullet has no names," said West Point Police Chief Avery Cook.
