Starkville man charged with accessory in December shooting

According to police, more arrests are pending.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - A wanted man is behind bars in connection with a December shooting in Starkville that happened the day after Christmas.

Police say 26-year-old Christopher Evans turned himself in Thursday after a warrant was previously issued for his "role" in a shooting.

Authorities say the incident happened at an apartment complex on Garrard Road.

Evans had an initial municipal court appearance Saturday and received a bond of $50,000.

He's charged with accessory.

According to police, more arrests are pending.
