OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - The University of Mississippi is urging students to get coronavirus tested before heading home for Thanksgiving in an effort to slow the spread of the virus.
Ole Miss is making asymptomatic testing available for any student, faculty or staff member, even those who have already been tested.
The testing will happen in the parking lot at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for Performing Arts. The testing is free.
University officials also remind students that a negative test does not lessen the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing and good hygiene.
