BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WTVA) - The Southeastern Conference (SEC) named Ole Miss guard Breein Tyree and Mississippi State forward Reggie Perry to its First Team All-SEC.
The SEC released its postseason awards Tuesday morning.
Perry was in the mix to be named the SEC’s Player of the Year, but the award went to Kentucky guard Immanuel Quickley.
MSU guard Tyson Carter was named the conference’s Sixth-Man of the Year.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari was named the Coach of the Year.
Scholar-Athlete of the Year - Skylar Mays, LSU
Freshman of the Year - Anthony Edwards, Georgia
Defensive Player of the Year - Yves Pons, Tennessee
