OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) - Four arrests have been made in the death of a 42-year-old woman whose body was found last week in Okolona.
The body of Titilayo Smith was found the afternoon of Dec. 17 in a yard on Monroe Avenue.
Okolona Police arrested two people on Thursday and the other two on Friday, according to Chief Investigator Robert Stokes.
However, they currently face no charges and their names are not being released. They are being held for questioning.
Police are still questioning other persons of interest, Stokes said.
Chickasaw County Coroner Michael Fowler initially believed Smith's death to be from natural causes, and the body was sent to Pearl for an autopsy.
The state medical examiner later notified the coroner about investigating the death as a homicide.
