OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) - COVID is putting a hold on in-person classes at the Okolona Elementary School.
The district said all students from pre-K to 5th grade will continue full remote learning through Sept. 20.
School leaders said they will use this time to sanitize the classrooms and common areas.
The school year started began on Aug. 6, but the school went virtual earlier this month after an outbreak.
