OAKLAND, Miss. (WTVA) – Law enforcement in Yalobusha County are searching for a man following a bank robbery.
According to Yalobusha County Sheriff Lance Humphreys, the robbery happened on Friday, December 15 at approximately 2:45 p.m. at the BancorpSouth branch in Oakland.

No one was injured.
The sheriff describes the robber as a black male with gloves and a mask. He says the man was armed.
He says officers found the money because the dye pack went off during the robbery.
Oakland police and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are working the investigation.
