Occupants escape apartment fire in Louisville

A fire seriously damaged an apartment building Tuesday morning in Louisville.

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Everyone escaped an apartment fire in Louisville.

The four-unit apartment building caught fire at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday in the upstairs part of the building, according to Deputy Chief Robert Hutto of the Louisville Fire Department.

The apartment building is located at North Johnson Avenue and East Main Street.

He said 11 people lived in the building and no injuries were reported.
