No injuries in truck fire

Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan says District 5 volunteer firefighters responded to Highway 25 south of Starkville at 1:19 p.m. for a reported vehicle fire.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - A truck fire caused traffic to back up for a short time Wednesday afternoon in Starkville. 

Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan says District 5 volunteer firefighters responded to Highway 25 south of Starkville at 1:19 p.m. for a reported vehicle fire.

They found a pickup truck on fire. Northbound traffic was blocked until the scene was cleared.

Rosenhan says there were no injuries.
