No injuries after vehicles catch fire at Pontotoc Walmart

No one was injured after a vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of Pontotoc's Walmart.

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) - No one was injured after a vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of Pontotoc's Walmart. 

Pontotoc Fire Chief Lance Martin says firefighters received the call at approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

He says the fire started with one vehicle and spread to others nearby. 

Five vehicles were involved total. Two vehicles are considered total losses. The other three received moderate to minor damage, Martin said. 

The official cause of the fire is to be determined; however, Martin says this appears to be non-malicious.
