NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) - A noontime shooting in New Albany did not injure anyone.
Police Chief Chris Robertson confirmed the shooting happened at Windshield Doctor on Bankhead Street.
He said a vehicle pulled into the business’ parking lot. A second vehicle stopped in the roadway, and a man got out of the second vehicle and fired three shots.
Robertson said a bullet struck a vehicle belonging to the business’ owner and city alderman Will Tucker.
Police officers are searching for a gray sedan. The police chief did not provide further descriptions of the car.
Police later identified the suspect wanted in connection to the shooting as Corey Collins.
Collins, 30, of Hickory Flat, is wanted for drive-by shooting.
