Arrests made after shots fired at New Albany Walmart

Updated - Police charged Doss with aggravated assault. Police charged Chapman with accessory after the fact.

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) - Two suspects and a person of interest were taken custody after shots were fired at Walmart Wednesday night.

Ladarius Doss, Khailynn Chapman and a person of interest were taken into custody overnight, New Albany Police Chief Chris Robertson said. The three are accused of being connected to a case where shots were fired in the parking lot of the Walmart off of Park Plaza Drive.

No one was injured, Robertson said.

Police charged Doss with aggravated assault. Police charged Chapman with accessory after the fact.

"I want to personally thank Columbus Police Department, Okolona Police Department and Chickasaw Sheriff's Office for assisting us in the quick apprehension of all suspects," Robertson said.
