Multi-agency operation lands Grenada man behind bars in prostitution sting

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Law enforcement officers arrested a Grenada man and charged him with promoting prostitution and conspiracy to commit robbery.

According to the Oxford Police Department, police officers and members of the Northeast and Northwest Mississippi Human Trafficking Taskforces conducted operations on Saturday aimed at combating human trafficking in north Mississippi.

The operation led to the arrest of Nicholas Pittman, 23.

Law enforcement made misdemeanor arrests for procuring prostitution, according to Oxford Police.
