BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Investigators charged a Booneville woman with forgery.
Law enforcement officers arrested Jerica Davis, 41, on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into identity theft, according to a Monday, Sept. 13 news release from Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar.
Also, Prentiss County deputies and Booneville police officers arrested Davis’ daughter, 18-year-old Madison Grimes, also of Booneville.
Investigators charged Grimes with hindering prosecution. She's accused of hiding her mother.
The sheriff's department did not release further information about the investigation, only stating a grand jury will hear both cases.
