Monroe County man arrested for drug trafficking

Waverly Wright was arrested for drug trafficking and now the police need help locating his brother.

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A man is now in a Monroe County jail cell for drug trafficking.

Now deputies need your help finding his brother.

Deputies arrested 34-year-old Waverly Wright after deputies found over two pounds of crystal meth at a home on Athens-Hatley Road.

A judge set his bond at $750,000.

Right now, deputies are searching for Wright’s brother, Michael Wright, Sr.

The sheriff’s department said Michael Wright lives outside the county.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department or your local law enforcement agency.
