ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - Thirteen Monroe County inmates reached a milestone Tuesday as they received their certificates from the Family First program.
The 10-week program teaches men about life.
Family First educator Michael Farrar said he hopes the inmates become better fathers, husbands and citizens.
Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said the program helps better the inmates and prepare them for their future.
Farrar said the next step for the inmates is to help them receive their high school diplomas.
