ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - Some inmates at the Monroe County Detention Center will graduate from an anger management class after weeks of training.
The program is called Conflicts and Solutions, and it is in its second year at the detention center.
Twelve of the inmates will get their diplomas for completing the training.
"What the inmates are learning, they are learning how to deal with their problems and face their problems and learning how to have solutions to those problems rather than flying off and getting mad," Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said. "They learn to use good common sense and come up with communications that they can deal with these problems."
Two anonymous inmates said the program has helped them.
