STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA/AP) - Mississippi State pitcher Jack Eagan was released from the hospital on Sunday.
Eagan has been cleared to be with his teammates in the dugout for Sunday's super regional game against Stanford.
Eagan was taken to the hospital after receiving medical attention in the dugout during the Saturday's game against Stanford.
The school said Eagan, a junior who did not play in Saturday’s game, suffered a “non-athletic medical event” before the seventh inning that delayed the game for several minutes.
