JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol is working with the Mississippi Department of Education to encourage traffic safety for students.
The new Operation S.T.O.P. (Safe Transport of Passengers) campaign will protect students from danger and allow buses to travel safely.
"Our future literally boards a school bus every day and the priority for our troopers will be to ensure the Safe Transport of Passengers to their destination," said Director of MHP Colonel Randy Ginn. "We urge you to join us as we invest in the future of our state."
The MHP is planning to enforce the Operation S.T.O.P. campaign throughout this school year.
