TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Law enforcement is trying to find a man the sheriff described as "armed and dangerous" in connection with Saturday homicide in Lee County.
Sheriff Jim Johnson did not reveal in a Sunday Facebook post where the killing happened, but he said a deputy got called to go to a home where someone was dead.
Coroner Carolyn Green later said the incident happened in the Richmond community.
That triggered the search for Bradley Kevin King, 54, who stands 5-feet-8-inches tall.
Johnson added he plans to release more information about the case Monday.
Green later identified the shooting victim as Randy Benson, 59.
In the meantime, he asked anyone with information about the killing or where King can be found to call the Lee County Sheriff's Department at 662-432-2612 or 662-432-2613.
