RIPLEY, Miss. (WTVA) - A Tippah County Circuit Court jury found Nakero Hamer guilty on two counts of capital murder on Wednesday in Ripley, according to District Attorney Ben Creekmore.
Hamer was one of four people arrested for the murders of two people in Walnut in July 2017.
He was 17 years old at the time of the crime.
The district attorney later confirmed Hamer was sentenced to two life sentences without the possibility of parole
Paul Joel Koster and Ayla Roxanne Hopper were found dead in their home in Walnut about 4:30 a.m. on July 6, 2017.
Kedarius Hamer, Thomas Hamer and Terrenz Mason were also arrested.
