Lafayette County investigators officially charged Sherard Ward, 35, with murder.
A judge initially set his bond at $1 million; however, due to his recent arrest, the judge revoked the bond.

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Lafayette County deputies arrested and charged a man in the shooting death of his wife Friday.
Lafayette County Maj. Alan Wilburn said deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the College Hill area.
They went to a home on County Road 1080 just after noontime.
Deputies found 33-year-old Marisha Golden Ward dead.
Officers arrested and charged 35-year-old Sherard Ward in the murder of his wife.
Ward is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center. Bond has not been set.
Wilburn also confirmed that law enforcement arrested Ward on Wednesday, Sept. 2 with one count of peeping tom.
His bond was set at $5,000 and was released from the Lafayette County Detention Center on Thursday, Sept. 3.
