BRANDON, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi man is charged with three counts of DUI manslaughter after a crash that killed a woman and two children.
The Highway Patrol says 54-year-old Kyle Dixon of Jackson was driving in the wrong direction on Mississippi Highway 25 in Rankin County when the crash happened late Wednesday.
Those killed were 32-year-old Tamaria Shumake, 8-year-old Ambrosia Isaac and 5-year-old Zylan Shumake.
They were members of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
Dixon was treated at a hospital before being taken to the Rankin County Jail.
The jail docket did not show whether he is represented by an attorney.
