UPDATE: Man arrested following Starkville burglary

According to Starkville police, they responded to the burglary that happened at The Block Townhomes.

Starkville police say Shaquille Andrews is charged with residential burglary. His bond was set at $5,000.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - A young man was arrested following a Tuesday morning burglary.

According to Starkville police, they responded to the burglary that happened at The Block Townhomes.

The victim reportedly woke up to a person inside the residence.

Police say the person fled the scene before officers arrived.

After responding, officers arrested 24-year-old Shaquille Andrews near the area.

Police have yet to release Andrews’ charge.
