COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Randy Vibrock has been named the chief of police for Mississippi University for Women.
The university announced the promotion Monday.
He has served as assistant chief of police since May 2017. He was named the interim chief of police in March 2018.
“It’s an overwhelming honor to be named chief of police,” said Vibrock. “The response from the campus, the department and the community shows they have confidence in my ability to do the job. It’s an honor.”
