MSU fans rally behind team following heartbreaking loss

Mississippi State's women's basketball team came up three points shy of winning the school's first national championship, but they returned home Monday as heroes.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi State's women's basketball team came up three points shy of winning the school's first national championship, but they returned home Monday as heroes.

The Lady Bulldogs arrived on campus around noon time, greeting by hundreds of pround Bulldog fans. Fans armed with pom-poms and cowbells showed their pride for the players.

WTVA talked with several proud fans about the returning heroes and the difficult loss. See their reaction in the video above.

MSU finished the season with just two losses.
