COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Current and former students, colleagues and friends celebrated the retirement of Emma Richardson and honored the 12 inaugural faculty members of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.

Current students did a presentation on the Hooper steps on The Mississippi University For Women’s campus.

Shortly after, everyone gathered at the reception in Cochran Hall.
