JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) reported 387 new COVID-19 cases and 4 new deaths Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
New COVID-19 related deaths reported to MSDH as of 3 p.m. yesterday. Four deaths occurred between March 18 and March 22 in the counties below:
- Copiah 1
- Hinds 1
- Madison 1
- Pearl River 1
As of Wednesday, March 24, 2021, there have been 303,625 total cases of the virus since mid-March 2020, which is when the state reported its first case. There have been 6,981 total deaths.
The state health department estimates there have been 290,537 recoveries.
