(WTVA) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) released new information about a fatal crash that happened in Tishomingo County on July 3.
The three-vehicle crash happened on Mississippi Highway 25 near the Natchez Trace Parkway at approximately 3:58 p.m.
The wreck claimed the life of Robert Foster, 50.
According to MHP, Foster was driving south in a Jeep. It appears a second vehicle, traveling north, sideswiped Foster’s vehicle, causing him to lose control. Foster’s vehicle went across the roadway and a third vehicle collided with his Jeep.
Foster died on the scene, according to MHP. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The occupants of the other vehicles were not injured.
MHP originally reported Foster entered into the northbound lane and collided with a second vehicle, thus causing the third vehicle to also crash.
