JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi Department of Transportation will be out in full force to inspect commercial vehicles and their drivers as part of the International 72-Hour Roadcheck.
This initiative will take place throughout North America, including several sites in Mississippi with locations in Southaven, Olive Branch, Iuka, Corinth, Fulton, Meridian, Moss Point, Bay Saint Louis, Picayune, McComb and Vicksburg.
The Roadcheck will last until midnight on June 7.
MDOT officers will inspect items such as braking systems, coupling devices, exhaust system, frame, etc.
