MBN searching for Clay County man who fled from arrest

MBN is looking for Marcus Torell Starks of Clay County.

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) is looking for Clay County man who fled when officers attempted to arrest him Thursday.

This is in connection with an ongoing drug investigation and the seizure of more than $10,000 worth of meth.

The man is identified as Marcus Torell Starks, 36, of the Pheba community.

MBN Director John Dowdy says state narcotics agents and local law enforcement executed a search warrant at Starks’ house.

Officers found approximately 106 grams of meth with an estimated street value of $10,620.

He fled when agents attempted to arrest him.

MBN says he was the subject of an 18-month drug investigation. He faces charges of sale of meth, trafficking of meth, possession of marijuana and felony fleeing charges.
