LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A person was taken to the hospital for treatment following a two-vehicle crash in Lowndes County.
The wreck happened sometime near 8 a.m. on Highway 82, one mile west of Highway 45 South.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol says a red Toyota Corolla rear ended a gray Nissan Juke.
Troopers say the Nissan left the highway and rolled over into a fence.
The driver of the Nissan, 61-year-old Linda Richardson of Columbus, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, 22-year-old Hannah East of Oxford, was not injured.
