UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A local movie theater re-opened Friday night after shutting its doors because of the pandemic.
Co-owner of Movie Reel, Mike Beam, said employees will wear masks, gloves and face shields now.
He will require customers to wear masks too.
Beam said there is a limited number of seats and he will spread people apart to ensure social distancing.
"Customers will pick their seats but we will block out the ones that are not to be sold to anybody,” he said.
Beam said they will disinfect rooms in between each showing.
Custodians will also clean bathrooms every 20 minutes.
Beam only showed three movies Friday.
He didn't expect a lot of people will come because of the tornado warning.
