JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Many local firefighters are working with emergency responders in Florida to help with Hurricane Dorian recovery.
Mississippi deployed approximately 40 members of its search and rescue team during the previous weekend.

They will support and help with potential swift-water rescue operations.
According to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, the support team comprises of firefighters from Amory, Columbus, Oxford, Tupelo and Water Valley, as well as many others from across the state.
