MOOREVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - It could take more than a month to repair a section of Highway 178 in Lee County following a landslide.

The section of road is between Highway 371 and Treeside Drive in Mooreville.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) says the road is closed in all directions. MDOT shows work is scheduled to end on April 30 at 5 p.m.

The landslide occurred during the weekend, causing a water line, which serves the city of Tupelo, to separate.

Crews were able to repair the water line Monday.
