LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A Lee County road is closed until further notice due to a washed out culvert.

Lee County Road Manager Tim Allred says County Road 185 is closed from County Road 600 to County Road 261.

Allred commented that someone riding a bike spotted the gaping hole and contacted authorities.

"They were probably pretty surprised and there are some bicycles that come around, they use this area to get away from traffic."

The location of the closure is approximately 0.4 miles south of the County Road 600/County Road 185 intersection.
