Lowndes County investigators are asking for the public's help solving a triple homicide in Artesia.
Sheriff Mike Arledge held a press conference at 10 a.m. today where he briefed the media on where the investigation stands.
He says a K9 unit will be on the scene looking for a weapon or weapons.
A person-of-interest is still being held in this investigation.
Arledge did say two of the deceased victims were found inside the mobile home. The third deceased victim was found outside the home.
The sheriff would not comment on a motive.
Update 1/16/19 8:12 a.m.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant identified the three victims as:
- Demario Snell, 31, of Artesia
- Mauricio Lamarcus Nance, 22, of Columbus
- Tyshun Bernard Fields, 24, of Crawford
All three suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their bodies will be sent for autopsies.

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office confirms it is investigating a homicide.
Sheriff Mike Arledge says a call came in before 4 p.m. of a shooting on Mobile Street in Artesia.
Coroner Greg Merchant says lights were being put up at the location, indicating investigators will likely be there for some time.

Three people are dead, according to Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant. At this time, he has not speculated on the cause of the deaths.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is en route to the scene.

ARTESIA, Miss. (WTVA) - Multiple law enforcement officers have responded to a reported shooting in the Artesia area of Lowndes County.
Coroner Greg Merchant says he has been called to the scene. He would not reveal specifics on the number of shooting victims.
