TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Country music star Kane Brown’s concert on Saturday, Sept. 25 was abruptly canceled in Tupelo.
The news was announced on Twitter shortly before the concert was set to kick off at the BancorpSouth Arena.
The Arena was forced to cancel the show due to “unforeseen maintenance issues.”

WTVA learned that a CPU (central processing unit) went bad and that took the fire alarm detection unit down.
Arena Interim Director Kevan Kirkpatrick said safety was the utmost concern.
The CPU has since been repaired.
Rock band ZZ Top is scheduled to perform at the Arena on Friday, Oct. 1.
