Illness causes Columbus Christian Academy to temporarily close

Dozens of sick students have caused Columbus Christian Academy to close its doors for two days.

STEENS, Miss. (WTVA) - Dozens of sick students have caused Columbus Christian Academy to close its doors for two days.


School Counselor Rachel Thomas says the school will be closed Friday, November 3 and Monday, November 6 after about 70 students became ill.

She describes the illness as flu and strep.
